چکیده

or inadequate health literacy, racial and ethnic minority populations, and patients at the end of life. Recognizing which patients are at higher risk for medical error enables meaningful contribution to the improvement of health care safety. Additionally, such recognition promotes development of individualized nursing interventions that complement multidisciplinary plans and encourage partnership with patients in the evaluation of the safety of the patients’ own care.
